Today on 29/09/2024 at about 19:15 HRS Sgct Tariq Ajaj No 297/U who was deputed with FST team headed by NT Ramnagar Sh Chain Singh reported at this PS and produced a docket on behalf of incharge FST Sh Chain Singh mentioning therein that during naka checking duty at near Ghas Mandi Ramnagar at about 18:30 Hrs they stopped one auto bearing registration number JK14J-2767 going from ghas mandi Ramnagar towards Dalsar was stopped by the naka party for checking purpose. During preliminary enquiry the driver of the vehicle disclosed his name as Gorkhu Ram S/O Churu Ram R/O Kanah Tehsil Ramnagar District Udhampur. On checking the above mentioned auto 33 cases having 1630 number of bottles measuring 180 ML each of JK special Whiskey each was found in it. During questioning he failed to give any satisfactory reply. As per the contents of the docket case FIR NO 92/2024 U/S 48(a) Excise Act got registered at P/S Ramnagar.
