Republic Day Celebrated at Mandi Kehli Middle School Boys: Demand for Upgradation to High School
Mandi Kehli: The Republic Day celebrations at Mandi Kehli Middle School Boys witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, teachers, and notable dignitaries. Retired Principal Narinder Singh, Counselor Arti Sambyal, Jatinder Singh, Pradhuman Singh, Samir Singh, Mohan Singh, and Rakesh Verma graced the occasion as special guests.
The program included patriotic performances by students, speeches highlighting the significance of Republic Day, and a focus on the school’s long-standing contribution to education.
During the event, the guests and locals raised a pressing demand to upgrade the middle school, which was established in 1955, to a high school. They emphasized that despite the school serving the community for nearly seven decades, no steps have been taken to elevate it to a high school level. The upgradation, they argued, would benefit the region’s students by providing better educational opportunities within their locality.
The dignitaries urged the authorities to take immediate action to fulfill this long-standing demand and ensure the educational growth of the area.
