Retired Judge AK Vishvesha who permitted ‘pooja’ inside Gyanvapi Masjid has been appointed as Lokpal Of Govt University In Lucknow. It is pertinent to mention that in the last day of his service as district judge, Varanasi, on Jan 31, 2024, he delivered the historic verdict of resumption of puja inside Gyanvapi Cellar which was closed since December 1993.
