167 Thieves Arrested, 82 Theft Cases Solved In Eleven Months: SSP Samba Benam Tosh
Samba, Dec 25 : Samba Police has achieved another big success , arrested seven (7) notorious thieves, solved two theft cases and recovered huge stolen property.
The arrested thieves have been identified as Jagger Singh s/o Pawan Singh r/o Meen Charkan, Bari Brahmana, Suresh Kumar s/o Barfu Ram r/o Samailpur khiddin, Vishal Thapa s/o Ganga Ram r/o Badhori Dera, Rohit Kumar s/o Dharminder Kumar r/o Pokhre Nepal A/p Kalagate Bari Brahamana, Davinder Kumar s/o Jaswant Raj r/o Dassal Kertholi, Bari Brahamana, Rohan Kumar s/o Bobby Kumar r/o Teli Basti Bari Brahmana and one more accused.
Out of seven, six thieves have been arrested by Bari Brahmana Police Station team by SHO PS Bari Brahmana under the supervision of SDPO Bari Brahmana and mesh wire worth rupees fifty five thousand approximately which was stolen from a factory has been recovered from them, whereas one thief has been arrested by SHO Police Station Samba under the supervision of DySP Hqrs Samba and also recovered stolen Motorcycle worth rupees eighty thousand approximately from him. Investigation of cases is being monitored by Additional SP Samba.
Senior Superintendent of Police Samba Benam Tosh said that record one hundred sixty seven (167) thieves have been arrested and eighty two (82) theft cases have been solved by Samba Police in past eleven months and police is achieving major successes one after the other in ongoing intensive drive against thieves in Samba district.
