Samba, Nov 19 : Under the guidance of Senior Superintendent of Police Samba Benam Tosh, Police has achieved a big success by arresting the kingpin of the gang of cattle lifers, effecting recovery of stolen cattle and seizing vehicle used for cattle thefts.
A case FIR No. 12/2023 U/S 457/380 IPC has been registered at Police Station Purmandal and investigation is underway.
The arrested kingpin of gang of cattle lifters' has been identified as Hamid s/o Roshan Din r/o Kheri Tehsil Bishnah District Jammu.
The hardcore accused was arrested by the police team comprising of SHO Police Station Purmandal Vijay Verma under the supervision of, SDPO Bari Brahmana Rahul Nagar and Additional SP Samba Surinder Choudhary.
Senior Superintendent of Police Samba Benam Tosh urged the general public to keep domestic animals at safe & secure places and not at abandoned or isolated spots so asto avoid any cruelty with the animals at the hands of cruel cattle lifters and bovine smugglers.
