SAMBA POLICE ACHIEVED MAJOR SUCCESS, ARRESTED INTERSTATE HEROIN SMUGGLER, RECOVERED 200 G HEROIN
68 Narco-Suppliers Arrested in Seven Months : SSP Samba Benam Tosh
Samba, August 18 : Under the guidance of Senior Superintendent of Police Samba Benam Tosh, Police has achieved a major success by arresting an interstate heroin smuggler and recovering 200 G of heroin from his possession.
The arrested interstate heroin smuggler has been identified as Yaqoob Ali alias Yuqo s/o Sain r/o Shahjadpur tehsil Ramgarh district Samba.
A case FIR No.108/2023 u/s 8/21/22/29 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Vijaypur and investigation is underway.
The interstate heroin smuggler has been arrested by the District NDPS Team and Police Station team at a special naka at Swankha Morh in the jurisdiction of Police Station Vijaypur. Senior Superintendent of Police Samba, Benam Tosh said that total sixty eight (68) hardcore narco-suppliers including thirteen (13) female narco-suppliers have been arrested in past seven months and several others have been booked under law. Samba district is no more a safe haven for heroin smugglers & suppliers and nor a safe market for illicit narco trade. All heroin hotspots & hide-outs of smugglers have been smashed by police and isolated attempts of smuggling and supplying are being dealt with sternly under law. Habitual heroin suppliers are being detained and lodged in Jail under stringent PITNDPS Act also.
