SAMBA POLICE ARRESTED 2 BOOTLEGGERS WITH ILLICIT LIQUOR
Samba, Nov 4 : Intensifying its drive against the sale of illicit liquor launched on the directions of Senior Superintendent of Police Samba Benam Tosh, Police has arrested two bootleggers and recovered illicit liquor from their possession in the jurisdiction of Police Station Vijaypur.
The arrested accused persons have been identified as Kulbir Singh r/o tehsil Vijaypur and Kuljit Singh r/o tehsil Vijaypur.
A police party of Police Station Vijaypur comprising of SHO PS Vijaypur Sandeep Charak under the supervision of SDPO Vijaypur Rohit Kumar and Additional SP Samba Surinder Choudhary while on patrolling duty near Gurha Morh, arrested two bootleggers and recovered illicit liquor from their possession.
A Case FIR No. 153/2023 u/s 48 (f) Excise Act has been registered at Police Station Vijaypur and investigation started.
Samba Police has arrested forty one (41) notorious bootleggers involved in sale of illicit liquor and registered thirty (30) FIRs in short span. Police is continuously and vigorously conducting raids to apprehend the wrongdoers in the district on the directions of SSP Samba Benam Tosh.
