SAMBA POLICE ARRESTED 4 ACCUSED FOR ABETMENT TO SUICIDE
Mysterious Death Case Of Bodh Raj Of Rakh Amb Talli Solved, FIR Registered : SSP Samba Benam Tosh
Samba, Aug 19 : Samba Police under the overall supervision of SSP Samba Benam Tosh has arrested four accused for abetment to suicide, mysterious death case of Bodh Raj of Rakh Amb Talli has been solved and FIR u/s 306/109 IPC has been registered at Police Station Samba.
The arrested accused have been identified as Faqir Chand s/o Lalo Ram r/o Rakh Amb Talli, Surjit Kumar s/o Faqir Chand r/o Rakh Amb Talli, Ashok Kumar s/o Jagdish Raj r/o Rakh Amb Talli and Jameet Roy s/o Lt. Sadhu Ram r/o Meen Sarkar Barjani Bari Brahmana.
Senior Superintendent of Police Samba Benam Tosh said that on 20.07.2023 an information was received through reliable sources at Police Post Rakh Amb Talli to the effect that one person namely Bodh Raj s/o Lalo Ram age 52 years, who was under treatment at GMC as poison case, expired at GMC Jammu and that his dead body was lying at mortuary room. Upon this information, Police initiated inquest proceedings u/s 174 CrPC to ascertain the actual cause of death. Police completed legal formalities, got conducted post-mortem, sent viscera to FSL and inquest was underway. In the meantime, Police received directions u/s 156 (3) CrPC from Hon’ble Court of CJM Samba to register FIR and in compliance with the court directions, FIR No. 197/2023 u/s 306/109 IPC has been registered at Police Station Samba, four accused have been arrested and further investigation is going on under the supervision of DySP Garu Ram and Additional SP Samba Surinder Choudhary.
