SAMBA POLICE ARRESTED 4 HARDCORE CRIMINALS FOR ATTACK ON POLICE & NCB
ALL PERPETRATORS OF ATTACKS ON POLICE WILL BE BEHIND BARS IN NO TIME : SSP SAMBA BENAM TOSH
Samba, Oct 7 : Under the overall supervision of Senior Superintendent of Police Samba Benam Tosh, Police has arrested four hardcore criminals for attack on Police & NCB teams at Sarore Bari Brahmana in which two police officials and two NCB Sleuths had sustained severe injuries.
The arrested hardcore criminals have been identified as Mushtaq Ahmed s/o Bashir r/o Rakh Barothian Vijaypur district Samba, Farooq Ahmed s/o Saraj Din r/o Agra Chak tehsil RS Pura district Jammu, Mohd Rashid alias Shida s/o Sadiq Hussain r/o Chak Manga tehsil and district Samba and Bashir Ahmed s/o Mareed r/o Debri Dabar tehsil Bishnah district Jammu.
On Thursday evening, on a specific tip off, Narcotic Control Bureau (NCB) team assisted by Police team of Bari Brahmana raided the house of one hardened heroin smugglers Mushtaq Ali alias Kaka at infamous heroin hotspot Sarore in the jurisdiction of Police Station Bari Brahmana during which a group of heroin smugglers attacked the Police & NCB teams resulting into severe injuries to four officials including PSO of SHO Police Station Bari Brahmana, PSO of SDPO Bari Brahmana and two NCB sleuths.
A case FIR No.238/2023 u/s 307/353/336/332/147/148/506 IPC 4/25 Arms Act stands registered at Police Station Bari Brahmana and investigation is in progress.
The hardcore criminals have been arrested by the police team comprising of SHO Police Station Bari Brahmana Sumit Sharma, PSI Mohd Aslam, PSI Nirmal Singh and PSI Vineet Rukwal under the supervision of SDPO Bari Brahmana Rahul Nagar and Additional SP Samba Surinder Choudhary.
Senior Superintendent of Police Samba Benam Tosh said that, Police teams are conducting raids at different suspected hideouts and all perpetrators of attacks on Police would be behind the bars in no time.
