SAMBA POLICE ARRESTED 5 MISCREANTS FOR MANHANDLING PANCH, CONTRACTOR
ALL ‘GUNDA’ ELEMENTS BEING BROUGHT TO BOOK : SSP SAMBA BENAM TOSH
Samba, Oct 15 : Under the overall supervision of SSP Samba Benam Tosh, Police has arrested five miscreants for manhandling a Panch and a Contractor in the jurisdiction of Police Station Samba.
The arrested miscreants have been identified as Pankaj Kumar of Ramgarh, Keshav Sharma of Vijaypur, Amrik Singh of Sunjwan, Dheeraj and Ajay Kumar of border area Samba.
Two separate cases --- case FIR No.245/2023 and case FIR No.243/2023 have been registered at Police Station Samba and investigation is underway.
Three miscreants namely Keshav, Pankaj and Amrik have been arrested for manhandling Panch of Garh Mandi Gurha Salathian Panchayat of block Vijaypur, whereas two miscreants namely Dheeraj and Ajay have been arrested for mishandling a local Contractor.
The miscreants have been arrested by Police teams headed by SHO PS Samba Daljit Singh and PSI Devinder Singh under the supervision of DySP Garu Ram.
On the directions of Senior Superintendent of Police Samba Benam Tosh, Police is taking stringent action against miscreants involved in manhandling & thrashing in Samba district and all 'gunda' elements are being brought to book.
