SAMBA POLICE ARRESTED HARDCORE DRUG-PEDDLER POSSESSING 79 MONEY GARLANDS & HEROIN
75 Narco-Suppliers Arrested In Ten Months : SSP Samba Benam Tosh
Samba, Nov 24 : Under the guidance of Senior Superintendent of Police Samba Benam Tosh, police has arrested hardcore drug-peddler possessing seventy nine (79) money garlands amounting to rupees 95,880.00 and heroin valuing rupees 45,000.00 approximately at Sarore in the jurisdiction of Police Station Bari Brahmana.
The arrested drug peddler has been identified as Mohd Imran Khan s/o Ashraf Khan r/o Iqbal Colony Pattan Baramulla.
A case FIR No.270/2023 u/s 8/21/22/27-A/29 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Bari Brahmana and investigation is underway.
From where as many as seventy nine money garlands amounting to rupees 95,880.00 came in the possession of drug-peddler is one of the aspects of investigation and therefore police has established contacts with his concerned police station also.
The drug peddler was arrested by a police team comprising of SHO Police Station Bari Brahmana Sumit Sharma, PSI Vivek Singh and PSI Divya Bharti under the supervision of SDPO Bari Brahmana Rahul Nagar and Additional SP Samba Surinder Choudhary.
Senior Superintendent of Police Samba Benam Tosh said that a total of seventy five (75) drug suppliers/smugglers have been arrested by Samba Police in short span, two notorious heroin peddlers have been detained & lodged in jail under PITNDPS Act and several other hardcore heroin smugglers have been booked under law and raids are being conducted to arrest them.
