SAMBA POLICE ARRESTED RAPE ACCUSED AMONG 2 CRIMINALS INVOLVED IN CRIME AGAINST WOMEN
Police Taking Appropriate Action Under Law To Control Crime Against Women : SSP Samba Benam Tosh
Samba, July 10 : Under the guidance of Senior Superintendent of Police Samba Benam Tosh, Police has arrested two culprits involved in crime against women including one rape accused. The arrested accused have been identified as Sanjay Kumar alias Sunny s/o Ram Lal r/o Rani Talab, Digyana district Jammu and Rahul Kumar s/o Girdhari Lal r/o Chak Bagalan tehsil Ramgarh district Samba. Two separate cases — FIR No. 144/2023 u/s 354-D, 376, 504 IPC read with 67 IT Act PS Bari Brahmana and FIR No.81/2023 u/s 341, 323 IPC PS Vijaypur have been registered and investigation going on. Whereas FIR regarding allegations of rape & blackmailing at Police Station Bari Brahmana was registered upon the complaint lodged by one lady, FIR regarding physical assault at Police Station Vijaypur was registered upon the complaint lodged by one girl student. Senior Superintendent of Police Samba Benam Tosh said that police is taking appropriate action under law to control crime against women and the criminals committing crime against women are being sternly dealt with. Perpetrators of crime against whom serious allegations of rape, molestation, domestic violence & assault are levelled & proved by police, are being arrested under law, as police is committed to eradicate crime against women in Samba district.
