SAMBA POLICE ARRESTS 7 MISCREANTS INVOLVED IN ATTEMPT TO MURDER CASE OF VIJAYPUR
Samba, August 14: Under the overall supervision of Senior Superintendent of Police Samba Benam Tosh, police has arrested seven miscreants involved in attempt to murder case of Vijaypur in which two persons had sustained grievous injuries with sharp-edged weapons. The arrested persons have been identified as Shiva Kumar s/o Suraj Kumar r/o Kun Railway Road Katra district Reasi, Sahil Mir s/o Anwer Mir r/o Railway Road Katra district Reasi, Ravi s/o Suraj Kumar r/o Katra Reasi A/P Shivnagar Vijaypur Samba, Manik Sharma s/o Ashok Kumar r/o Majitha Amritsar Punjab, Sikander Kumar s/o Ram Langa r/o Masooda Mandi Jalandhar Punjab, Sanju s/o Vishal Kumar r/o Ladgar Amritsar Punjab and Jatin Singh s/o Suraj Kumar r/o Bopali district Panipat Haryana. An attempt to murder case FIR No. 107/2023, U/S 307,341,323,147,504,506 IPC, 4/25 Arms Act stands registered at Police Station Vijaypur and investigation is underway. After arresting seven accused, police has also recovered sharp-edged weapons of offence from their possession which were used by the miscreants in the murderous attack. The miscreants have been arrested by police team headed by SHO Police Station Vijaypur Tribhawan Khajuria under the supervision of SDPO Vijaypur Rohit Kumar and Additional SP Samba Surinder Choudhary.
