SAMBA POLICE ARRESTS HARDCORE CRIMINAL CODE NAME “DC”, WHO WAS INVOLVED IN ATTACK ON POLICE CASE

Samba, July 30 : Under the overall supervision of SSP Samba Benam Tosh, Police has arrested hardcore criminal code name “DC”, who was one of the prime accused involved in attack on Vijaypur Police party near Rakh Barotian on 6th of April, 2023.

Hardcore accused “DC” is the 8th accused arrested by Police in the attack on Police case FIR No.38 /2023 U/S 307,382,353,332,336,147,148 IPC P/S Vijaypur. Investigation of the case is in progress and some more arrests are likely.

Police is conducting investigation in attack on Police case in highly professional manner and conducting searches and series of raids to arrest the accused involved in the case. So far, Police has been successful in arresting eight accused in the case and some more accused have been identified who would be arrested soon.

 Hardened criminal code name "DC" is son of Bashir resident of Rakh Barotian Vijaypur, district Samba who was one of the criminals involved in attack on Vijaypur Police party and is also a notorious heroin smuggler involved in NDPSA cases also. He used to frequently change his names/ identity to escape from the clutches of law.

Hardcore criminal DC has been arrested by SHO Police Station Vijaypur Tribhawan Khajuria & PSI Deepika Jalotra under the supervision of SDPO Vijaypur Rohit Kumar, DySP Ops. Samba Garu Ram and Additional SP Samba Surinder Choudhary.

Senior Superintendent of Police Samba Benam Tosh said that Police would bring to justice all criminals & smugglers who are involved in attacks on Police, taking law in their own hands, intending to continue illicit drug smuggling by displaying muscle power and criminally intimidating civilized citizens.
