SAMBA POLICE ATTACHES PROPERTY WORTH LACS OF NOTORIOUS DRUG PEDDLER AT RAKH BAROTIAN VIJAYPUR
Samba, April 8: As a part of its relentless effort against drug peddlers/smugglers, Samba Police has attached a single storey residential house valuing about sixteen (16) lacs belonging to notorious drug peddler namely Mohd Younis S/o Noor Alam R/o Rakh Barotian tehsil Vijaypur district Samba.
The action was taken by Police under sections 68-E read with 68-F of NDPS Act of 1985 and is linked with case FIR Nos(1) FIR No. 203/2021 u/s 8/21/22/29 NDPS Act of PS Vijaypur
(2) FIR No. 204 /2021 u/s 8/21/22/29 NDPS Act of PS Vijaypur
The residential house was identified as illegally acquired property during the course of investigation/enquiry conducted by police. The property was prima facie acquired from illicit trafficking in Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances by the drug peddler.
This operation reaffirms the commitment of Samba Police to combat the drug menace. Local people of the area hailed this unprecedented initiative of Samba Police against drug dealers.
