SAMBA POLICE BOOKED NOTORIOUS DRUG SUPPLIER UNDER PITNDPS ACT
Samba, April 10: Taking stringent action against notorious drug smugglers/suppliers involved in illicit drug trade, Samba Police under the overall supervision of SSP Samba Vinay Kumar-JKPS has detained and lodged in jail notorious drug supplier Farman Ali @ Munna under Prevention of Illicit Traffic in Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (PITNDPS) Act, in pursuance of detention order issued by Divisional Commissioner, Jammu.
Farman Ali @ Munna S/o Bhag Hussain R/o Krail Manhasa tehsil Bishnah district Jammu A/P Balole Khad Bari Brahmana district Samba is a notorious heroin supplier involved in number of NDPS cases registered at Police Station Bari Brahmana, posing a serious threat to the health and welfare of the people.
Following his repeated engagement in drug trafficking, dentation order was issued by Divisional Commissioner Jammu based on detailed dossier prepared by SSP Samba.
Immediately after receiving the detention order, police team led by SHO Police Station Bari Brahmana successfully executed the warrant, detained the notorious drug supplier Farman Ali @ Munna and lodged him in District Jail Kathua.
