SAMBA POLICE BUSTED GANG OF FEMALE THIEVES, 4 LADIES AMONG 5 ARRESTED
172 Thieves Arrested, 83 Theft Cases Solved In Eleven Months: SSP Samba Benam Tosh
Samba, Dec 28 : Samba Police has busted gang of female thieves and arrested four lady thieves among five accused in the jurisdiction of Police Station Vijaypur and recovered stolen cash from their possession.
The arrested thieves belong to Srinagar, presently putting up in Jammu for seasonal stay and had been committing thefts & extortions in moving passenger vehicles and crowded places in Samba district.
The arrested thieves have been identified as Julli, Fahmeeda, Tahira, Tabasam and Imtiyaz, all residents of Srinagar.
A case FIR No. 189/2023 U/S 379 IPC has been registered at Police Station Vijaypur and investigation is underway
Senior Superintendent of Police Samba Benam Tosh said that record one hundred seventy two (172) thieves have been arrested and eighty three (83) theft cases have been solved by Samba Police in past eleven months and police is achieving major successes one after the other in ongoing intensive drive against thieves in Samba district.
