SAMBA POLICE DESTROYS HUGE QUANTITY OF SEIZED NARCOTICS WORTH RS 47 LACS APPROX
Samba, May 27, 2025: Continuing its war against drugs, Samba Police has today destroyed huge quantity of seized Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances worth rupees 47 Lacs approximately.
District Level Drug Disposal Committee carried out day long rigorous destruction drive of seized Narcotics under Section 52-A of NDPS Act in presence of JMIC Munsiff Samba and Executive Magistrate 1st Class Ramgarh at M/s Anmol Health Care Village Rakh Rara district Samba strictly following legal protocol and environmental protection standards.
The destroyed contraband was seized in various criminal cases and included 719 Kilograms and 850 grams of Poppy Straw and 2070 bottles of Corex valuing rupees 47 lacs approximately.
Samba Police reiterates its unwavering commitment to eradicate the menace of drugs from society and also appealed to the citizens to inform any drug-related activity in their area to the nearest police station. The identity of the informer will be kept secret.
