SAMBA POLICE FILES CHARGESHEET AGAINST TOP HEROIN SUPPLIER “YODDHA” OF PUNJAB IN RS.16.71 LAKH CURRENCY & HEROIN RECOVERY CASE
Big Fishes Involved In Heroin Supplying Will Not Be Spared : SSP Samba Benam Tosh
Samba, Aug 7 : Under the guidance of Senior Superintendent of Police Samba Benam Tosh, Police has filed chargesheet against top heroin supplier “Yoddha” of Punjab who was arrested & had been in judicial custody in 16.71 lakh Indian currency/heroin recovery case registered at Police Station Ghagwal, District Samba.
Top heroin supplier Jugraj Singh alias Yoddha s/o Balkar Singh r/o Devidass Pura tehsil and district Amritsar (Punjab) had been operating from Punjab and supplying huge quantity of heroin like a wholesaler to the local heroine suppliers of Samba and adjoining districts. He figured as one of the prime accused in case FIR No.33/2023 u/s 8/21/22/25/27-A/29 NDPS registered at Police Station Ghagwal in which Police had seized huge Indian currency amounting to rupees 16,71,520.00 & heroin. Therefore, Samba Police had conducted raids at several places in Amritsar & other places in Punjab state to nab him. Finally, police succeeded in arresting him from Amritsar, Punjab by conducting nocturnal raids and he was remanded to police custody and subsequently remanded to judicial custody. During the course of investigation, Police proved the case against Yoddha & others and produced the challan in the court of law for judicial determination.
Senior Superintendent of Police Samba Benam Tosh said that big fishes involved in heroin supplying will not be spared and Police would leave no stone unturned to bust all illicit heroin trafficking modules, to arrest & bring to justice all top ‘chitta’ suppliers including those sitting outside the UT of J&K.
