SAMBA POLICE NABBED DRUG PEDDLER WITH 5.26 GRAMS HEROIN LIKE SUBSTANCE
Samba, May 23, 2025: Continuing its drive against drug smugglers & peddlers, Samba Police has arrested a drug peddler in the jurisdiction of Police Station Ramgarh and recovered 5.26 grams approximately heroin (chitta) like substance from his possession.
Acting on an information received through reliable sources, a Police party of Police Station Ramgarh intercepted a motorcycle bearing registration No. JK20A-6394 at Kajyal Chowk moving towards Koulpur for its checking. During checking, 5.26 grams approximately heroin like substance was recovered from the possession of the rider.
The drug peddler identified as Kaka Hussain S/o Mohd Iqwal R/o Bidha tehsil & district Reasi has been arrested and contraband item has also been seized.
A case FIR No 35/2025 U/S 8/21/22/25 NDPS Act has been registered at PS Ramgarh and investigation started.
