Samba, March 2: Samba Police today organized awareness tour on the theme “Policing in Amrit Kaal” in Ramgarh sector for 30 students of Government and private Schools of Ramgarh border area under Civic Action Programme.
During the tour, students visited Border Police Station Ramgarh, Baba Chamliyal Shrine, Border out Post (BOP) Chamliyal, and other border areas in Ramgrah sector. The students interacted with Police Jawans and security personnel deployed in border areas and got the opportunity to know about the nature of duties being performed by them.
After culmination of the said tour Samba Police distributed stationery items and packed lunch among the participating students and felicitated them with certificates under Civic Action Programme.
Students on the occasion shared their views about the tour with great enthusiasm and thanked Samba Police for facilitating such a wonderful Awareness Programme.
Police officers congratulated all the students for this tour and for opportunity to gain knowledge about Police functioning and border areas.
