SAMBA POLICE ORGANIZES ANTI DRUG AWARENESS PROGRAMMES AT GGMS CHACK MANGA RAKWAL & GMS BADLA BRAHMANA
Samba, January 1: Samba Police has organized anti-drug awareness programmes, aiming to sensitize the students about the ill effects of drug abuse, at Govt. Girls Middle School Chack Manga Rakwal & Govt. Middle School Badla Brahmana in the jurisdiction of Police Station Samba which were attended by large number of students, teachers and other members of school management.
The programme at GGMS Chack Manga Rakwal organized under Civic Action Programme (CAP) was presided over SHO PS Samba in which eight students had participated. The first, second and third best performers were presented cash rewards of rupees 10000, 6000 and 4000 respectively, whereas five other participating students were also felicitated with consolation cash prizes of rupees 2000 each.
In another programme under CAP at GMS Badla Brahmana, students from GMS Dhora, GHS Sarain, GMS Chilla Danga, GMS Badla Brahmana and GPS Teri had participated. The first, second and third best performers were presented cash rewards of rupees 10000, 6000 and 4000 respectively, whereas five other participating students were also felicitated with consolation cash prizes of rupees 2000 each.
The efforts of J&K Police in promoting awareness about the negative impact of drug abuse were highly appreciated by the school management and attendees.
