SAMBA POLICE PRODUCED CHALLAN AGAINST ACCUSED FOR KIDNAPPING & MOLESTATION OF MINOR GIRL STUDENT
Stringent Possible Action Under Law Being Taken Against Perpetrators of Crime Against Women : SSP Samba Benam Tosh
Samba, Nov 20 : Under the guidance of Senior Superintendent of Police Samba Benam Tosh, Police has produced challan in the court of law against accused for kidnapping & molestation of a minor girl student.
The arrested accused against whom chargesheet has been filed in the court of law in case FIR No.217/2023 u/s 363, 376 IPC, 4 POCSO Act is Balbir Singh s/o Karan Singh r/o Mohar Garh A/P Chilla Danga tehsil & district Samba. The accused is presently lodged in District Jail Kathua on judicial custody. Challan has been produced by police in the Hon’ble Principal Sessions Court Samba for judicial determination.
The investigation of the case was conducted by police team comprising of SHO Police Station Samba Daljeet Singh and PSI Shakti Singh under the supervision of DySP Garu Ram and Additional SP Samba Surinder Choudhary.
On the directions of Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Samba Benam Tosh, stringent possible action under law is being taken against perpetrators of crime against women in Samba district and Police is taking stern action against culprits involved in women-related crimes. Police is conducting investigations exhibiting high degree of professionalism and concluding the investigations on merits in time-bound manner.
