SAMBA POLICE PRODUCES CHALLAN AGAINST 8 NOTORIOUS THIEVES
Intensive Drive Against Thieves Remained Successful In Samba : SSP Benam Tosh
Samba, September 1 : Under the guidance of Senior Superintendent of Police Samba Benam Tosh, Police has produced challan in the court of law against eight notorious thieves/receivers of stolen property in a theft case of construction company NH-44 “MCCS Infra Pvt. Ltd” registered at Police Station Samba through Police Post Supwal.
On 30.06.2023, a written complaint was lodged at Police Post Supwal by one Rakesh Kumar Dubey, HR Manager Construction Company NH-44 “MCCS Infra Pvt. Ltd.” regarding theft of iron plates from construction site. Acting upon the complaint, a case FIR No.162/2023 u/s 379 IPC was registered at Police Station Samba through Police Post Supwal and investigation started.
During the course of investigation, eight thieves were arrested by police and stolen items were recovered. The accused against whom the challan has been produced in the court of law for judicial determination are : Umesh Pangotra s/o Chander Mohan r/o Vijaypur district Samba, Manish Khajuria s/o Mahesh Raj r/o Bara tehsil Vijaypur district Samba, Randeep Singh s/o Kuldeep Singh r/o Baria tehsil Vijaypur district Samba, Varinder Sharma s/o Om Parkash r/o Moutlian Kalan district Samba, Sawan Manjotra s/o Tajinder Manjotra r/o Vijaypur district Samba, Rahul Manjotra s/o Baljeet Kumar r/o Vijaypur district Samba, Joginder Paul s/o Kanthu Ram r/o Samba and Manohar Lal s/o Kanthu Ram r/o Samba.
After completing the investigation, police closed the case as challan as offence has been proved against above mentioned eight thieves/receivers of stolen property and produced the same in the court of Additional Special Mobile Magistrate Samba for judicial determination. The investigation of the case was conducted by ASI Balbir Kumar under the supervision of SHO Police Station Samba Rajeshwar Singh, DySP Garu Ram and Additional SP Samba Surinder Choudhary.
Intensive drive against thieves launched on the directions of Senior Superintendent of Police Samba Benam Tosh remained successful in Samba & police is bringing theft cases to logical conclusion by effecting recoveries, arresting accused and filing chargesheet against them in the court of law.
