SAMBA POLICE SEIZED 13 MORE VEHICLES FOR ILLEGAL MINING
235 Vehicles Seized For Illegal Mining In Ten Months : SSP Samba Benam Tosh
Samba, Dec 6 : Continuing vigorous drive against illegal mining launched on the directions of SSP Samba Benam Tosh, Police has seized thirteen (13) more vehicles which were being used for illegal mining in district Samba.
Police teams comprising of SHO Police Station Samba Daljit Singh, SHO Police Station Vijaypur Sandeep Charak, SHO Police Station Bari Brahmana Sumit Sharma, SHO Police Station Purmandal Vijay Kumar, Incharge Police Post Rakh Amb Talli PSI Sohail Munir, Incharge Police Post Mansar PSI Shakti Singh and Incharge Police Post SIDCO PSI Anjum Hussain under the supervision of DySP Hqrs Samba Bhishm Dubey, SDPO Vijaypur Rohit Kumar, SDPO Bari Brahmana Rahul Nagar and Additional SP Samba Surinder Choudhary have seized thirteen (13) more vehicles being used for illegal mining at different locations in Samba district.
The seized vehicles are : Eleven (11) dumpers bearing registration Nos JK21D-0670, JK21G-9265, JK21E-8791, JK21G-9191, JK19A-4424, JK19-9497, JK19A-5938, JK19-6188, JK21D-4627 JK02DB-2425 & JK02CD-8862 and two (02) tractors bearing registration Nos JK21G-7032 & JK21H-9479.
Senior Superintendent of Police Samba Benam Tosh said that total two hundred thirty five (235) vehicles have been seized in past ten months for illegal mining by Samba police after launching special drive against illegal mining. Police would not allow illegal mining in Samba district and would take yet more stringent action against mining mafia in Samba district, if illegal mining not stopped.
