SAMBA POLICE SEIZES 13 MORE VEHICLES FOR ILLEGAL MINING
155 Vehicles Seized For Illegal Mining In Eight Months : SSP Samba Benam Tosh
Samba, September 18 : Continuing vigorous drive against illegal mining launched on the directions of SSP Samba Benam Tosh , Police has seized thirteen (13) more vehicles which were being used for illegal mining in district Samba. Police teams comprising of SHO Police Station Vijaypur Sandeep Charak, SHO Police Station Samba Daljit Singh, Incharge Police Post Rakh Amb Talli ASI Ramesh Chander, Incharge Police Post Mansar ASI Suresh Kumar and Incharge Police Post Supwal ASI Balbir Kumar under the supervision of DySP Garu Ram, SDPO Vijaypur Rohit Kumar and Additional SP Samba Surinder Choudhary have seized thirteen (13) more vehicles being used for illegal mining at different locations in Samba district. The seized vehicles are : Nine (09) Dumpers bearing registration Nos. JK21J-1079, JK21H-7899, JK21G-3008, JK14H-1494, JK19A-0668, JK19-7700, JK19A-2813, JK02DD-2239, JK02CK-0835, one (01) tipper bearing registration No. JK02G-1766, two (02) tractor trolleys bearing registration Nos. JK02AE-0858, JK11B-2521 and one (01)tractor trolley without registration No. Senior Superintendent of Police Samba Benam Tosh said that total one hundred fifty five (155) vehicles have been seized in eight months for illegal mining by Samba police after launching special drive against illegal mining. Police would not allow illegal mining in Samba district and would would take yet more stringent actions against mining mafia .
