Samba, March 31: Continuing its drive against illegal mining in the district, Samba Police has seized four vehicles in the jurisdiction of Police Station Samba which were being used for illegal transportation/mining of the construction material.
A Police team of Police Station Samba headed by SHO PS Samba while performing patrolling duty in its jurisdictional area, has seized one dumper bearing regd. No. JK021G-0036 and two tractor trolleys without registration Nos.for illegal mining/transportation of construction material in the area.
Similarly, a Police party of Police Post Supwal headed by Incharge Police Post Supwal has seized tractor trolley without registration No. for illegal mining/transportation in the area.
The above mentioned vehicles have been seized by Samba Police and handed over to Geology & Mining Department, Samba for further action.
