SAMBA POLICE SEIZES 5 VEHICLES INCLUDING 3 DUMPERS FOR ILLEGAL MINING
Samba, March 19, 2025: Continuing its drive against illegal mining, Samba Police has seized five vehicles including three dumpers in the jurisdiction of Police Stations Samba which were being used for illegal transportation/mining of the construction material.
Police teams headed by Incharge of Police Posts Goran, Supwal, Rakh Amb Talli and Mansar of PS Samba while performing patrolling duty in their jurisdictional areas, have seized five vehicles including three dumpers bearing registration Nos. JK02CS-7032, JK19-5993 & JK21K-9917, tractor trolley bearing registration No. JK21H-7679 and a tractor trolley without No. which were being used for illegal transportation/mining of the construction material in the area.
The above mentioned vehicles have been seized by Samba Police and handed over to the Geology & Mining Department, Samba for further legal action.
