SAMBA POLICE SEIZES 6 MORE VEHICLES FOR ILLEGAL MINING
109 Vehicles Seized For Illegal Mining In Six Months : SSP Samba Benam Tosh
Samba, Aug 5 : In continuation to drive against illegal mining launched on the directions of SSP Samba Benam Tosh, Police has seized six (06) more vehicles which were being used for illegal mining in district Samba.
Police teams comprising of SHO Police Station Bari Brahmana Sunil Sharma and Incharge Police Post Rajpura SI Hardev Singh under the supervision of DySP Garu Ram, SDPO Bari Brahmana Rahul Nagar and Additional SP Samba Surinder Choudhary have seized six (06) more vehicles being used for illegal mining at different locations in Samba district.
The seized vehicles are : Four (04) Dumpers bearing registration Nos. JK08M-4909, JK08M-4960, JK02CS-5551 & JK08M-4909 and two (02) tractor trolleys bearing registration Nos. JK21D-5366 & JK21H-9864.
Senior Superintendent of Police Samba Benam Tosh said that total one hundred nine (109) vehicles have been seized in past six months for illegal mining by Samba police after launching special drive against illegal mining. Police would continue checking the wrongdoings of mining mafia till illegal mining is completely stopped in the district.
