SAMBA POLICE SEIZES 7 VEHICLES INCLUDING 4 DUMPERS FOR ILLEGAL MINING
Samba, May 18, 2025: Continuing its drive against illegal mining, Samba Police has seized seven vehicles including four dumpers in the jurisdiction of Police Stations Samba and Ramgarh which were being used for illegal transportation/mining of the construction material.
Police teams headed by SHO PS Ramgarh and Incharges of Police Posts Rakh Amb Talli & Mansar of PS Samba while performing patrolling duty in their jurisdictional areas, have seized seven vehicles including four dumpers bearing registration Nos. JK21E-9535, JK02DC-4809, HP73A-7023, HP73A-6023 and two tractor trolleys bearing registration Nos. JK21D-3815, JK21H-7908 & one tractor trolley without No. which were being used for illegal transportation/mining of the construction material in the area.
The above mentioned vehicles have been seized by Samba Police and handed over to the Geology & Mining Department, Samba for further legal action.
