SAMBA POLICE SEIZES 7 VEHICLES INCLUDING 5 DUMPERS FOR ILLEGAL MINING
Samba, March 02: Continuing its drive against illegal mining, Samba Police has seized seven vehicles including five dumpers in the jurisdiction of Police Stations Samba and Ramgarh which were being used for illegal transportation/mining of the construction material.
Police teams headed by SHO PS Samba, SHO PS Ramgarh, Incharge Police Posts Mansar and Supwal of PS Samba while performing patrolling duty in their jurisdictional areas, have seized seven vehicles including five dumpers bearing registration Nos. JK21G-0097, JK02CT-9433, JK21E-8791, JK19-7283 & JK19A-3867, tractor trolley bearing registration No. JK21K-4009 and one more tractor trolley without registration No. which were being used for illegal transportation/mining of the construction material in the area.
The above mentioned vehicles have been seized by Samba Police and handed over to the Geology & Mining Department, Samba for further legal action.
