SAMBA POLICE SEIZES 8 MORE VEHICLES FOR ILLEGAL MINING

142 Vehicles Seized For Illegal Mining In Eight Months : SSP Samba Benam Tosh

Samba, September 11 : In continuation to drive against illegal mining launched on the directions of SSP Samba Benam Tosh, Police has seized eight (08) more vehicles which were being used for illegal mining in district Samba. Police teams comprising of SHO Police Station Bari Brahmana Sumit Sharma, SHO Police Station Vijaypur Sandeep Charak, SHO Police Station Samba Daljit Singh, Incharge Police Post Rakh Amb Talli ASI Ramesh Chander and Incharge Police Post Supwal ASI Balbir Kumar under the supervision of DySP Garu Ram, SDPO Vijaypur Rohit Kumar, SDPO Bari Brahmana Rahul Nagar and Additional SP Samba Surinder Choudhary have seized eight (08) more vehicles being used for illegal mining at different locations in Samba district.The seized vehicles are : Four (04) Dumpers bearing registration Nos. JK02CK-0835, JK21G-8766, JK21D-4532, JK14F-1957 and three (03) tractor trolleys bearing registration Nos. JK11C-6310, JK21F-1024, JK21J-5198 and one tractor trolley without registration No. Senior Superintendent of Police Samba Benam Tosh said that total one hundred forty two (142) vehicles have been seized in eight months for illegal mining by Samba police after launching special drive against illegal mining. Police would continue checking the wrongdoings of mining mafia till illegal mining is completely stopped in the district.
