SAMBA POLICE SEIZES 9 MORE VEHICLES FOR ILLEGAL MINING

125 Vehicles Seized For Illegal Mining In Seven Months : SSP Samba Benam Tosh

Samba, September 4 : In continuation to drive against illegal mining launched on the directions of Senior Superintendent of Police Samba Benam Tosh, Police has seized nine (09) more vehicles which were being used for illegal mining in district Samba.

Police teams comprising of SHO Police Station Samba Daljeet Singh, SHO Police Station Vijaypur Sandeep Charak and ASI Ramesh Chander under the supervision of DySP Garu Ram, SDPO Vijaypur Rohit Kumar and Additional SP Samba Surinder Choudhary have seized nine (09) more vehicles being used for illegal mining at different locations in Samba district.

The seized vehicles are : Five dumpers bearing registration Nos. JK02CJ-1867, JK21E-5572, JK02BF-6649, JK21E-8590 and JK14H-1478 and three tractor trolleys bearing registration Nos. JK21F-2501, JK21H-9386, JK21G-9341 & one tractor trolley without number.

Senior Superintendent of Police Samba Benam Tosh said that total one hundred twenty five (125) vehicles have been seized in past seven months for illegal mining by Samba police after launching special drive against illegal mining. Police would continue checking the wrongdoings of mining mafia till illegal mining is completely stopped in the district.
