SAMBA POLICE UNEARTHED ILLEGAL SALE OF DIESEL, ARRESTED 3 ACCUSED
Samba, Jan 23 : Samba Police has unearthed illegal sale of diesel at national highway side, arrested three accused, seized 125 litres of diesel & one truck in the jurisdiction of PS Samba. The arrested accused have been identified as Kapil Kumar s/o Radhe Sham r/o Mangu Chak Samba, Pawan Kumar s/o Rasal Singh r/o Kotli Gujjran Gurdaspur (Punjab) and Ritikh Kumar s/o Pappu Kumar r/o Chak Manga Rakwal Samba. A case FIR No. 24/2024 has been registered at Police Station Samba and investigation is underway. The accused Kapil Kumar, who runs a tyre puncture repair ‘Khokha’ near Duggar Haveli, Nanke Chak Samba, was indulged in illegally storing and selling of diesel oil at his ‘Khokha’ for the last six months. Alert police team of PS Samba caught accused Kapil red-handed alongwith other accused while illegally selling diesel oil at his ‘Khokha’ shop for wrongful gain and police has also seized a truck in which diesel fuel was being filled illegally in the presence of Executive Magistrate 1st Class Samba. Senior Superintendent of Police Samba Benam Tosh said that patrolling has been intensified by Police in Samba district to curb criminal conspiracies, pilferage, thefts and smuggling and perpetrators of crime are being nabbed one after the other.
