SAMBA POLICE WORKED OUT TWO THEFT CASES, ARRESTED TWO NOTORIOUS THIEVES; 109 Thieves Arrested, 53 Cases Solved In Six Months : SSP Samba Benam Tosh

Samba, July 11 : Under the overall supervision of Senior Superintendent of Police Samba Benam Tosh, Police has worked out two theft cases, arrested two notorious thieves and recovered stolen items worth rupees 1.50 lakh approximately. 

      The arrested thieves have been identified as Rameez Ahmed s/o Asgar Ali r/o Semna, district Kishtwar and Gara Ram s/o Ashok Kumar R/o Badyal Qazmi Tehsil RS Pura district Jammu.

     Two theft cases -- FIR No. 168/2023 u/s 457/380 IPC registered at Police Station Samba through PP Rakh Amb Talli and FIR No. 156/2023 U/s 379/IPC registered at Police Station Bari Brahmana have been solved by Police and some more thieves have been identified to be arrested soon. 

     One theft case has been worked out by Police team headed by Incharge Police Post Rakh Amb Talli PSI Devinder Singh whereas another theft case has been solved by a team comprising of SHO Police Station Bari Brahmana Sunil Sharma and ASI Surinder Singh under the direct guidance of Addl. SP Samba Surinder Choudhary.

      Senior Superintendent of Police Samba Benam Tosh said that total one hundred nine (109) thieves have been arrested and fifty three (53) theft cases have been solved by Samba Police in six months and sincere efforts are being made to work out all theft cases registered in the district.
