Seach operation in Distt Samba: Security forces trying their best to foil the nefarious designs of Pakistan sponsored terrorists
After continuous reports of sighting of terrorists in Kathua, a search operation is also conducted by the security forces in the border areas of Samba district today. This search operation was conducted in the border areas of Lale Chakk, Chakk Jangi, Bein Nala etc. As everyone knows that the 6th phase of voting is to be held tomorrow on 25th in which Anantnag seat in which parts of Poonch and Rajouri are also included. Earlier also the terrorists had killed a Sarpanch Aijaz Ahmed Sheikh in Srinagar and shot two tourists to interfere in the elections. Even before that, there was an encounter between a group of terrorists and security forces in Basantgarh area in which an Air Force soldier was martyred. According to the the security forces, this group of 10 to 12 terrorists was hiding in the hills of Basantgarh, to find them continuous search operations were conducted. Now after the news of terrorists being seen at different places in Chakk Jangi, near Taranah Nallah near Raj Bagh in Kathua district, security forces in Samba also launched a search operation in Malani, Benin Nallah, Lale Chakk etc. to search for the terrorists. Drones were also used in this campaign. Along with this, the security forces also went to the Gujjar settlements living outside and verified the people living there and took stock of the situation. Actually the security forces did not want to take any leniency from its side because it is Pakistan’s conspiracy to spoil the elections being held in India. The attack in Srinagar, before that the attack in Basantgarh, all these things were done to create fear in the hearts of the people, but people have not scared and have voted in large numbers. The voter turnout in Baramulla seat was 61%. So Govt again wants to show to the world the changed atmosphere in JKUT by having peaceful & successful voting in Anantnag Rajouri PC & thereby foiling the nefarious conspiracy of Pakistan.
