Senior BJP Leader Announces 5 Leaders to be Nominated as MLAs in J&K

Srinagar, October 7: Senior BJP leader Sofi Yousuf, in a conversation with a prominent media house, has revealed the names of five leaders who are set to be nominated as Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs) in Jammu and Kashmir.

Yousuf confirmed that all five individuals have close ties with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Among the names announced are BJP leaders Ashok Koul, Rajni Sethi, Dr. Fareed Khan, and Sanjita.

In his statement, Yousuf remarked, “As the BJP is in power at the Centre, it is natural that all the nominees will be from the BJP. The selection process reflects the party’s commitment to strengthening its presence in the region and ensuring that those nominated have a deep understanding of local issues and governance.”

The nominations come at a crucial time for the party as it continues to expand its influence in Jammu and Kashmir, following the abrogation of Article 370 and the ongoing efforts to integrate the region more closely with the rest of India.

This decision is expected to strengthen the BJP’s foothold in J&K, with the nominated leaders playing a key role in shaping the future political landscape of the region.
