Senior Police Officials Conduct Comprehensive Security Review in Jammu City

Jammu, December 13: In a concerted effort to ensure public safety and maintain law and order, DIG JKS Range Shiv Kumar (IPS), along with SSP Jammu Joginder Singh (JKPS), SP North Vivek Shekhar, SP Operations Kameshwar Puri, SDPO City Devinder Singh, DySP Sunil Jasrotia, and DySP Sunil Mahajan, conducted a detailed security review of key areas in Jammu city.

The high-level team inspected prominent locations including Link Road, Parade, Raghunath Bazar, Gumat Market, Hari Market, Jewel Chowk, and Nobawad. During the review, the team visited lanes and bylanes, key bus chowks, and local hotels to assess the current security measures in place.

SSP Joginder Singh briefed DIG Shiv Kumar on the comprehensive security arrangements, alongside detailed inputs from SP North Vivek Shekhar and SP Ops Kameshwar Puri.

The officials also interacted with members of the local market associations, discussing concerns and potential challenges. The team emphasized the importance of public cooperation in ensuring safety, urging citizens to promptly report any suspicious individuals or activities to the nearest police station or post.

This proactive approach aims to bolster public confidence and strengthen preventive measures against any untoward incidents in the bustling city areas.
