Severe Traffic Jam Following recovery of Head-On Collided vehicles near Nanak Chack in Samba
A severe traffic jam occurred this morning near Nanke chack in Samba, due to a head-on collision between two trucks in the night under the Railway Bridge on NH 44 Samba. The accident, which happened overnight, required a crane for recovery operations. This caused significant delays as the recovery vehicle worked to clear the wreckage. Many vehicles, including those of local commuters & other buses & trucks were caught in the traffic standstill on both sides of the road. Long queues of vehicles seen on both sides of the road.Traffic police and recovery teams are actively working to resolve the situation, but as of now, the road remains congested & road is not cleared.
