Social Activist Chandan Datta Leads Delegation to Address Power Supply Issues in Lower Gadigarh
Social activist Sh. Chandan Datta, Chairman of Kotli Welfare Trust, led a delegation from Lower Gadigarh, accompanied by Rajat Sharma, MD of Unique Group, to meet MD JPDSL IAS Vikas Kundal today. They submitted a memorandum requesting a separate feeder for families in urban areas. MD JPDCL, Sh. Vikas Kundal, assured prompt action on the issue, directing the Superintendent Engineer Jammu to submit a report and divide the load as required.
We should commend Vikas Kundal for his dedicated efforts to improve the power department. His meticulous work has helped stabilize electricity tariffs this year, as his efficient management and revenue generation are mitigating departmental burdens. Despite the harsh summer heat of approximately 50°C, Kundal’s commitment is evident through his nighttime visits to power grids, resulting in minimal power cuts and a stable electricity supply.
