SAMBA : Nations Development Association (NDA), in collaboration with MyBharat-NYK Jammu under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, successfully organized a Cluster of Block Level Sports Meet at Balouri Ground, Samba. The event saw enthusiastic participation from youth across the Samba District, promoting physical activity and community spirit.
The sports meet featured various competitions across multiple sporting categories, with participants showcasing their athletic talents and sportsmanship. This initiative provided a platform for young athletes to compete in a healthy and supportive environment, encouraging youth engagement in physical activities.
The event was held under the supervision of Sushil Singh Charak, Chief Functionary of the Nations Development Association (NDA). His guidance and support were key to the event’s success. Charak expressed his gratitude to all the organizers, participants, and the local community for their valuable support.
Narinder Singh Jamwal, President of Bainglar, and Former Panches Gopal Singh, Shamsher Singh, Kuldeep Singh Lambardar, and Rajinder Singh, attended the event to motivate the participants and commend their efforts.
The Cluster of Block Level Sports Meet not only emphasized the importance of sports but also aimed to promote youth engagement and physical fitness, aligning with the Government of India’s vision of building a fitter, more active youth population.
Following the success of the event in various blocks, NDA organized similar sports meets in other blocks across the district, where teams were selected to represent the district at the upcoming District Level Sports Meet.
Sushil Singh Charak mentioned that the District Level Sports Meet will be held soon in Samba, with plans currently underway for the event.
The Nations Development Association (NDA) remains committed to organizing more such events to promote sports at the grassroots level and create more opportunities for youth across the region.
