SSP SAMBA BENAM TOSH PRESIDES OVER POLICE- PUBLIC MEET AT MOHARGARH

AVOID LODGING FALSE COMPLAINTS: SSP BENAM TOSH APPEALS PEOPLE

    Samba, Sept 28 : Senior Superintendent of Police Samba Benam Tosh today presided over important Police-Public meet at Mohargarh at which  general public aired their grievances.

      Hundreds of common people hailing from several villages directly interacted with SSP, Addl.SP Surinder Choudhary, DySP Garu Ram Bhardwaj, SHO Daljit Singh and Chouki Officer BPP Chilla Danga SI Sardari Lal in friendly manner and shared problems being faced by the people in their villages and put forward their genuine demands  pertaining to Police and other departments.

      Prominent persons who spoke on the occasion included : Sarpanch Mohargarh Suram Chand, Sarpanch Sarna Suman Lata, Ex-Sub. Kuldeep Raj, Social activists Ashok Singh, Gardhari Lal, Babu Ram, Soma Devi, Jankar Singh, Mohan Singh, Kapoor Puri and Retd. Police Officer Shamsher Singh.

      Speaking on the occasion, SSP Samba Benam Tosh appealed to the people to avoid lodging false complaints which attracts legal action under section 182 IPC. SSP further requested the public to avoid taking law in hands under any circumstances and approach Police for any kind of assistance as & when required. Trivial matters, which are of  non-cognizable nature ,  can be sorted out at  own level under the aegis of eleders of the society, Lambardars, Choukidars, Panchayats and upright social activists, he addded. Benam Tosh requested the social workers to ensure that crime is not hushed up, criminals do not remain scot free and law-abiding people are not harassed at the hands of anti-social elements.
