SSP SAMBA BENAM TOSH PRESIDES OVER ‘THANA DIWAS’ AT SAMBA
Samba, Dec 14 : Senior Superintendent of Police Samba Benam Tosh today presides over ‘Thana Diwas’ at Police Station Samba where hundreds of prominent citizens were present. SSP was accompanied by Additional SP Samba Surinder Choudhary, DySP Hqrs Samba Bhishm Dubey, DySP DAR Samba Surinder Mohan, SHO Police Station Samba Daljit Singh, Chowki Officer Supwal PSI Deepika Jalotra & other police officers. Those who spoke on the occasion on behalf of the public included : President Beopar Mandal Tejinder Singh, President Social Club Samba Sunil Gupta, President Rehriwala union Sunny Sambyal, Sarpanch Shah Balode Sunil Choudhary, social activists Krishan Mahajan and Swarn Singh aired their reports and general grievances of the people at the properly organised Thana Diwas.
On the occasion of Thana Diwas, SSP Samba Benam Tosh said that Thana Diwas is being organized at all Police Stations twice a month with a view to listen to the grievances of the people vis-a-vis police working and to bring about necessary reforms in policing. SSP Samba further said that people have put forth useful suggestions and provided guidance to police as also aired their grievances which would be redressed appropriately at the earliest possible. SSP Samba assured the public of Samba that Samba police will serve them politely, professionally & patiently and would never insult or hurt the dignity of any innocent individual who is not involved in the crimes. Benam Tosh told that he intends to meet common people separately & secretly so as to study their actual problems.
