Storm Aftermath: Tin Roof house Damaged in Sumb area Dabdi Village, Samba District
Samba, April 17, 2025: Aftermath of the powerful whirlwind are now unveiling when the reports of damage are coming in. In Village Dabdi of the Sumb block of Samba district yesterday, significant damage has been done to the property of Dilip Singh, son of the late Maggar Singh, whose house lost its tin roof sheets due to the strong winds.
It is fortunate that such tim sheets didn’t cause damage to anyone but the house was the sole living area for the family of Dalip Singh who is a hand to mouth person. The storm also disrupted normal life in the village, leaving residents to deal with the aftermath of the destruction. Local authorities are assessing the extent of the damage and working to provide relief to affected families.
