Students of Law Department University of Jammu Presented Party Palooza: Mr Avinash Choudhary & Ms Ananya Shukla declared as Mr & Ms Freshers

Students of Law Department University of Jammu Presented Party Palooza , an event of farewell cum freshers day in the Zorawar Singh Auditorium of the University. More than 300 persons attended the function including students, teaching & non teaching staff members of the department. Mrs Manju Jamwal HOD of Law Department was the Chief Guest . A number of activities were performed by the outgoing students & freshers which included cultural activities, poetry recitation & certain funny games which were applauded by students & staff . Dance items were performed by Anushka Bakshi, Maskeen , Pranjal , Ananya , Radhika & others . A ramp show was also organised . The programme concluded with a soothing song sung by Abid Farooq. The title of Mr / Ms Fresher and Final students were also declared . Mr Avinash Choudhary & Ms Ananya Shukla of first semester were declared as Mr & Ms Freshers respectively. Similarly, Mr Suryansh & Ms Achyuta Sharma of last semester were declared as Mr & Ms Final respectively. The results were decided by the jury members of the faculty comprising of Mrs Manju Jamwal HOD of Law Department , Prof Sanjay Gupta , Prof Arvind Jasrotia , Prof Raj Sandhu , Prof Mohd Arif , Prof Arti Sharma & Prof Savita Nayyar of Law Department . Sh Avinash Choudhary while extending his gratitude on receiving Mr Fresher Title stated that such type of programmes in the university help in exhibiting spirit of maintaining unity amongst the student community coming from different shades of society. He further expressed that as student of the university its our moral responsibility to respect & pay our regards to our faculty members & seniors and also work for eradicating menace of drug use by our youth prevalent in the society. The programme was anchored byInsha , Aneesa, Ayush, & Dikshaya , students of law department. The final year students welcomed the freshers warmly and freshers bid emotional farewell to outgoing students wishing them good luck in their life . The programme was organised by students of Law Department . Finally lunch was served to the participants organised by the Food Committee headed by Atul Singh Kattel, Ashwani Sharma & Manik Goswami .The students before departing at the end of the event enjoyed in group dance to the tune famous Punjabi music .
