Students of Vigyan Jyoti organized a model exhibition in JNV Samba

A science exhibition was organized in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Samba under the Vigyan Jyoti program in which the students presented various types of models. This exhibition was organized under the Vigyan Jyoti program Phase-V 24-25 of the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India. Vigyan Jyoti is a special effort of the Government of India in which students of rural areas are encouraged to move forward in the field of science and technology. In this exhibition, 50 students of class 10th and 12th presented working models of water conservation, water purification, electrical step up transformer, green energy, greenhouse effect, effect of acid rain, DNA, Pascal’s law, accelerator technology. This science exhibition was inspected by the school principal Suneet Gupta, vice-principal Dr. Saklani and senior teacher of the school Satya Prakash along with science teachers Ashok Kumar, Kiran Bhagat, Sunil Kumar, Sunny Gupta, Aparna Sood. Principal Sunita Gupta called upon the children to develop an understanding of the modern options of water conservation as well as the new options emerging in scientific research at the global level, keeping in mind the utility of water. The Principal praised the Science department of the school for organizing such an exhibition so that the students, especially those from rural backgrounds, remain connected with the field of science and technology and are successful in finding better options in their lives in future. Simran, Aarushi, Shivanshi, Ankita, Riya, Mannat, Raghavi, Poonam, Khushboo, Tanvi, Palak, Shreya, Janvi, Muskan, Parineeta, Nivedita and Smile participated in this exhibition.
