Theft case solved: stolen vehicle recovered
A written complaint was lodged at PS Gangyal by a person namely Som Singh S/o Nikku Singh R/o Greater Kailash stating that some unknown persons had stolen his car which he parked outside his house in the area under the jurisdiction of PS Gangyal.
After this special police teams of PS Gangyal led by SDPO South Sachit Sharma assisted by SHO PS Gangyal Inspr Jaswinder Singh did strenuous efforts and with the help of CCTV footages of the area finally rounded up the accused namely :- Karan Singh @ Karnu S/o Deepak Singh R/o Rajeev Nagar Narwal Jammu. During questioning accused confessed his involvement in the above case and on his disclosure stolen car bearing Registration No. JK02AB-1324 was recovered from his possession.
On this, a case FIR No, 125/2023 U/S 379 IPC was registered at PS Gangyal and accused was arrested.
Further investigation of the case is going on.
