Tourist Spots in Jammu & Kashmir to Reopen from June 17, 2025

Srinagar, June 15, 2025 – In a significant boost to tourism in Jammu and Kashmir, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has announced the reopening of several popular tourist destinations that were temporarily closed as precautionary measures. Starting June 17, 2025, visitors can once again explore the scenic beauty of Betab Valley, parks in Pahalgam Market, Verinag Garden, Kokernag Garden, and Achabal Garden in the Kashmir and Jammu Divisions.
Additionally, key attractions in Srinagar, including Badamwari Park, Duck Park, and Taqdeer Park, will also welcome tourists from the same date. The decision to reopen these sites is expected to revitalize the local tourism sector, drawing both domestic and international visitors to the region’s picturesque landscapes and serene gardens.
