A tragic accident occurred at Swankha Mor, Vijaypur, on the evening of [yesterday’s date] around 6:45 PM. The collision involved a GREF dumper, bearing registration number 16E-73172, and a motorcycle with number JK21J 6488, both traveling toward Samba. The motorcycle was ridden by Mangal Singh, son of Parsu Lal, resident of Surara, Ghagwal, with his wife, Anshu Katal, as the pillion rider.Mangal Singh and his wife sustained serious injuries and were immediately rushed to the Emergency Hospital in Vijaypur. Unfortunately, Mangal Singh succumbed to his injuries, while his wife was referred to Government Medical College (GMC), Jammu, for further treatment.The deceased’s body has been shifted to District Hospital Samba for postmortem. The driver of the dumper, Surinder Kumar, son of Chuni Lal from Sujanpur, has been arrested by the police.Further investigations into the accident are ongoing.
