TRUCK LOADED WITH WOODEN LOGS SEIZED BY SAMBA POLICE
Samba, May 06, 2025: Samba Police has seized a truck loaded with wooden logs in the jurisdiction of Police Station Ghagwal which was being transported in violation to J&K Forest Produce Transit Rule 2020.
A Police party headed by SHO PS Ghagwal during special Naka near Jatwal, intercepted a Truck bearing registration No. PB06BH-2502 for checking which was coming from Jammu side. During checking, wooden logs were found laden inside the truck which was being transported in violation to J&K Forest Produce Transit Rule 2020.
The driver of truck has been identified as Yaqoob S/o Noor Mohd R/o Chamba (Himachal Pardesh).
The said truck has been seized and handed over to forest department Samba for further legal proceedings.
